DOG FESTIVAL AT THE GARDENS

Location: Old Westbury Gardens, Old Westbury, New York
Dogs Allowed: Absolutely
Twice a year the grounds at the beautiful Old Westbury Gardens Mansion opens up to the dogs! Pet vendors all line the main pathway, sponsored walk by LI Dog and you get to stroll the amazing grounds and acreage with your dogs before, during and after your shopping!
WALK N WAGS
Date: May 9, 2026
Time: Saturday, 12:00 to 4:00
Location: Hecksher Park, Huntington
Dogs Allowed: Encouraged!
The second-annual event, sponsored by Give a Dog a Dream and the Town of Huntington, benefits the Huntington Animal Shelter. Dogs and their owners have the chance to meet, stroll the park and enjoy the park with others. Vendors and organizations dedicated to the well-being of man’s best friends, as well as musicians and food vendors, will be on hand.

SPCA ANIMAL ABUSE FUNDRAISER

Location: Village Green, Farmingdale
Dogs Allowed: Absolutely
The Nassau County SPCA annual Animal Abuse Awareness Parade and Adoption Event, to fight neglect and support rescue efforts. The event features pet-friendly vendors, raffles, and education, with funds supporting abused animal care. It highlights the need for community awareness and helps support the animals!
FARMINGVILLE STREET FAIR
Date: June 14, 2026
Time: Sunday 10:00 to 5:00
Location: Portion Road, Farmingville, New York
SPOT: #209 in front of Cankos
Dogs Allowed: Yes
Hundreds of vendors offering a variety of crafts, toys, jewelry, clothing, accessories, and other wares have filled Portion Road, making the Street Fair the greatest event in Farmingville. Since the first year we scheduled live music (the best I've seen at a street fair!), classic cars, bounce structures, beer garden, food, and more, providing an all around great time for the entire family to enjoy.
